Life gets in the way

For a week, then another, before you know it a whole month has gone by, two… Well, I do have a valid excuse, I moved continents!!
Pretty big deal right? Moving can be overwhelming normally, even more so when you’re moving country.

The key is to try to manage everything, but sometimes you let one or two things slip, in my case, this blog!!
I have had good intentions with updating you all with what’s going on, but on top of moving, I’ve been traveling, taking a much needed holiday, then off visiting family, attending weddings, island hopping & plane hopping! – Life got crazy! But don’t worry, I plan on filling you in on the juicy gossip!!

First, I wanted to let you know of some big changes that are coming to ThrifDeeDubai! – The main news is that, I am still ThrifDee – Just not in Dubai!
“Whaaaaat?” I hear you say!
Yep! I have come back to good ol London Town! That does not mean I’ll be any less thrifty! I will still be giving you the best info when it comes to being thrifty in the city! Remember, ANY city! 😉

Moving makes you take lots of things into account, financial costs. lifestyle changes. de-cluttering. DIY, re-purposing. managing family & Settling into new routines. making new surroundings feel familiar.

New directions

This is where new thoughts have been in my mind about where ThrifDeeDubai is heading.
I’ve decided to add some of these subjects to my blog, to give you guys tips, advice & insight into the exciting & also difficult journeys experienced by everyone who faces big changes in their lives. I will be covering many topics, including ones you suggest!!

Don’t worry! I’ll still be giving you all the usual related articles you know & love, like recipes, money saving, lifestyle hacks, parenting & blogging advice! I’ll just be adding broader subjects & doing some exciting collaborations with other bloggers & brands, this means giving you more!

QUESTION! – Have you ever moved to a new country? If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go? Have you ever traveled somewhere & it’s instantly felt like home? I would really love to hear from you & know what YOU would like to see here @ThrifDeeDubai!! Your opinion matters! So let me know in the comments below & don’t forget to share!!

    Hi Dee!
I’m so glad to see you are back to posting on the blog! I can’t imagine moving from one country to another ESPECIALLY to a different continent. If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Newcastle, UK. I have a second family over there & the coast is beautiful. It was my instant “home” for sure. 🙂 I’d love to see a post on your favorite London spots that you wont find on every other London bucketlist!
